World Bank invited me to a women’s entrepreneurship conference in Bujumbura after a meeting I went to visit orphanages and the L’Orphelinat Officiel de Bujumbura was the one that captured my attention seeing the living conditions and the story of the children. I talked about it at the dinner to my friends and everybody volunteered to contribute even my family.
I had the incredible opportunity to spend a heartwarming day with the wonderful children who call this place home. My visit was more than just a chance to connect with the community; it was a chance to make a meaningful impact through a donation, bringing smiles and hope to these resilient young lives.
L’Orphelinat Officiel de Bujumbura has been a beacon of love and support for children who have lost their families or are unable to live with them. The dedicated team at the orphanage works tirelessly to provide shelter and a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We proudly donated bags of Rice, flour, beans, sugar, omo, balloons, baby milk, and pampers. Each item we brought was chosen with care, thinking about how it would contribute to the children’s well-being and joy.
